Just nu är det paus i alla schacktävlingar som spelas på brädan. Men innan dessa nya restriktioner infördes har flera i klubben fått fina resultat både i individuella tävlingar och i lagtävlingar.
I ungdomsserien spelade lördagen den 24/10 både SK Sandlöparens lag 1 och 2 sina första matcher med lyckade resultat! Vårt lag 1 lyckades överraska mot Lunds ASKs förstalag och vinna på hemmaplan med 3-1 sedan Qianqian och Guanbo vunnit mot högre rankade spelare på bord 3 och 4 och Jacob J och Oscar J spelat remi på bord 1 och 2. Lag 2 spelade en jämn match borta mot Eslöv 2, slutresultat 2-2, sedan Jakob P och Carl B vunnit sina partier medan Rasmus och Oscar BV trots tapper kamp fick ge sig i sina partier.
SK Sandlöparens lag har också tävlat i Allskånskan, där vi tyvärr fick se oss besegrade av Malmö AS 3-2. Våra ungdomar i laget, Oscar och GuanBo, lyckades vinna sina partier mot tuffa motståndare, men tyvärr gick det mindre bra för de vuxna i laget, Claes, Kim och Magnus.

Och till slut har också Jacob J spelat i U18 European Youth Champtionship, som detta året spelades online. Trots mycket tuff motstånd, lyckades Jacob med 2 vinster och 2 oavgjort i 9 partier. Alla detaljer från tävlingen finns på chess24s sida om tävlingen.
